Comparatively, private sector US salaries average US$200,000, with the highest paid jobs including those of anesthesiologist, oral and maxillofacial surgeon, obstetrician and gynecologist, pilot, podiatrist, prosthodontist, and many more.

With Denmark consistently ranks as one of the world’s happiest nations (CNN), this next section of the article promises to be riveting as we try to unravel the mystery of the country’s relatively low salary levels.
